Glam or No Glam?

The next big question everyone is asking: Will there be a formal ceremony for the Oscars or not?

The New York Times announced the nominees ['No Country' and 'There Will Be Blood' are the leaders] and pondered how the writers strike will affect the ceremony. The article said: "Sid Ganis, president of the academy, did not address the matter during the nominations announcement. The academy has said it has contingency plans in case the writers’ strike is not settled by the ceremony."
Hopefully, the writers' strike will be resolved by Oscar time so we can watch the fabulous glitz and glamor then. My fingers are still crossed!!! The Oscars are scheduled for Feb. 24, 2008.
